Synopsis

Our show follows the traditional story of Cinderella. Cinderella, the daughter of Baron Hardup is forced to work scrubbing the floors, cooking dinner and mending clothes. All for Baronness Hardup, her stepmother. When an invitation for a royal ball arrives, the Baronness laughs at the idea of Cinderella attending. Left behind, Cinderella takes comfort from her good friend Buttons and gets on with her chores. While wishing she were somewhere else, her Fairy Godmother appears, at first in the guise of an old crone. Cinderella’s rags are transformed to a beautiful ball gown, a coach appears from a pumpkin and she is whisked away wearing some rather fetching glass slippers. As the night progresses she dances with the Prince but has to leave by midnight, a curfew she very nearly misses. Leaving behind one glass slipper she makes it back to Stoneybroke Hall in the nick of time.

After the ball, the Prince goes on a search looking for the owner of the glass slipper. He believes her to be his one true love. When he arrives at the hall he is greeted by the Baronness and her two daughters, but Cinderella is nowhere to be seen. Will she get her chance at trying on that shoe…..
